Data deletion
How to request deletion of information handled by Uptraff and its Meta integrations.
Send a deletion request
Email hello@uptraff.com with the subject “Data deletion request”. Say that your request concerns the Uptraff LTD Meta app or a website enquiry, and give the email address or phone number associated with the information you want removed. If useful, include the approximate dates of the relevant messages.
Do not send a password, access token, verification code or identity-document scan. We will ask for proportionate verification only if needed to identify the records or establish your authority. A request can be made by a person whose information appears in a message, as well as by the connected account holder.
What we will do
We will identify the information under our control, assess your request and erase data that we no longer have a lawful reason to retain. We will explain any legal exception or restriction that applies. Where a service provider processes the relevant data on our behalf, we will pass on the deletion request or explain the provider's applicable procedure.
We aim to respond within one month of receiving a valid request. If an extension is permitted and needed because a request is complex, we will explain the reason and timing. We will confirm the outcome and any remaining provider or backup-retention limits.
Disconnecting and message copies
An account holder can revoke the app in Meta's business integrations settings and disconnect the corresponding Composio account to stop future access. Deletion of already retained records is a separate request.
Removing records held by this integration does not delete messages from other people's devices, their WhatsApp accounts or independent records held by Meta. Provider execution logs, AI-assistant conversations and backups can have separate retention rules. We cannot promise immediate deletion of copies outside our control, and will explain any further action needed.
